Welcome to the Shrine. Below are our most asked questions about Tailsmans, Shrine Boxes, subscriptions, shipping, safety, and rituals. If you don't find what you need, contact us at hello@whiskersclub.us.


Orders & Payments

Q: How do I place an order?
A: Add whatever you want to your cart and follow the checkout prompts. We accept major credit cards and PayPal where available.

Q: Can I change or cancel my order after I place it?
A: If your order hasn’t shipped we can usually change or cancel it. Email hello@whiskersclub.us immediately with your order number and request. We will confirm what we can do.

Q: Do you offer gift wrapping or gift notes?
A: Yes. You can add a handwritten note at checkout. Gift wrapping is not available yet, but we are working on it as an add-on for Shrine Boxes. Check back soon!


Shipping & Delivery

Q: When will my order ship?
A: In-stock orders typically ship within 7–10 business days. Preorders will ship when the preorder item is available. If an order mixes preorder and in-stock items, we ship together once everything is ready.

Q: Do you provide tracking?
A: Yes. All orders, except sticker-only orders, include tracking. You’ll get a tracking email when your order ships.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes. International customers are responsible for any taxes, customs, VAT, or import duties in their country.

Q: My tracking says delivered but I didn’t receive it. What should I do?
A: Check around your property and with neighbors. If you still can’t find it, email hello@whiskersclub.us and we’ll open an investigation with the carrier.


Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Q: Do you accept returns?
A: We do not accept general returns. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.

Q: What is your refund policy for preorders?
A: Preorder items can be refunded within 5 days of purchase. After 5 days preorder purchases cannot be refunded.

Q: Can I change sizes or swap items after ordering?
A: If your order is still in our warehouse we may be able to swap items. Email hello@whiskersclub.us with your order number ASAP.


Subscriptions — The Quiet Congregation

Q: What are the Quiet Congregation tiers and billing cadence?
A: We offer Pilgrim (monthly), Shrinekeeper (quarterly), and Quiet Circle (annual). Billing occurs at the start of each period. See the Quiet Congregation page for current perks and pricing.

Q: How do I pause or cancel my subscription?
A: You can cancel or pause from your account dashboard or email hello@whiskersclub.us. Cancellations stop future shipments but do not retroactively refund already-billed periods.

Q: Can I gift a subscription?
A: Yes. Choose “gift subscription” at checkout and provide recipient details. Gift subscriptions cannot be refunded after the first billing.


Products & Materials

Q: What materials are used in Tailsmans and Shrine Boxes?
A: Materials vary by product. Many plush bodies are polyester plush with embroidered details. Shrine Box tokens may be paper, resin or metal depending on the drop. Product pages list exact materials.

Q: Are your products vegan?
A: Many of our items use vegan leather and faux fur. Check individual product pages for material specifics.

Q: Are there choking hazards? Are Tailsmans safe for children?
A: Some items include small tokens, charms, or removable parts and are not intended for children under 3. Check each listing for age recommendations. 

Q: How do I clean my plush?
A: Surface clean only. Spot-clean with mild soap and a damp cloth. Air dry may be used to refluff any flattened plushies.


Shrine Boxes, Rituals & Safety

Q: What is a Shrine Box?
A: A Shrine Box is a curated starter altar that includes one Tailsman, a laminated sigil card, charm pouch and token, an votive, a fabric sigil mat/pillow.

Q: Are these religious items?
A: No. Our offerings are symbolic and for personal practice and comfort. They are not religious prescriptions and are not intended to replace religious practice or professional help.

Q: Do your rituals have to be followed exactly?
A: No. Rituals we provide are optional suggestions. Treat them as prompts. Use what feels meaningful and skip what doesn’t.

Q: Are candles included? Are they real flame?
A: Shrine Boxes include an LED votive by default. Some limited or premium boxes may include soy candles with clear flame-safety instructions. If you are concerned about flame, please use the LED option.

Q: Are you borrowing from real traditions? How do you handle cultural elements?
A: We draw inspiration from folklore and contemporary home ritual practices. We avoid misusing sacred symbols. When real-world practices are referenced, we credit sources and aim to be respectful. If you have concerns, contact us.

Q: Can I use my Tailsman for mental health or medical conditions?
A: Tailsmans and rituals are meant for symbolic comfort. They are not medical devices and should not replace professional care.


UGC, Community & Intellectual Property

Q: How do I submit my altar photo for #MyWhiskersAltar?
A: Post your photo or video on Instagram or TikTok and tag @whskrsclub and #MyWhiskersAltar. Alternatively use our submission form on the My Whiskers Altar gallery page.

Q: If I tag you, can you use my photo on your site or social?
A: Yes, tagging grants us permission to repost. If you prefer we do not use your photo, DM or email hello@whiskersclub.us and we will remove it.

Q: Can I resell your products or become a wholesale partner?
A: We do offer wholesale for qualified retailers. Email hello@whiskersclub.us with your business details and resale plan.


Orders, Shipping Troubles & Contact

Q: I never received a shipping confirmation. What now?
A: Check your spam folder. If there is no confirmation within the expected shipping window, email hello@whiskersclub.us  with your order number and we will check the status.

Q: How do I contact customer service?
A: Email hello@whiskersclub.us. We aim to reply within 48 business hours.


Legal & Privacy

Q: Do you have a privacy policy?
A: Yes. You can read our full Privacy Policy in the footer. We never sell your personal data.

Q: Do you keep my payment information?
A: We do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.


Other

Q: Can I request a custom or commissioned Tailsman?
A: Sometimes we accept commissions or custom work. Email hello@whiskersclub.us with details, timeline, and budget and we’ll let you know if it’s possible.

Q: Will you restock sold-out items?
A: We often restock popular items. Sign up for email alerts on the product page to be notified when something is available again.
